BTS’s “Love Yourself: Answer” Is Their 2nd Album To Spend 100 Weeks On Billboard’s World Albums Chart

BTS continues to make history.

Billboard has released it’s World Albums chart for the week ending on August 1 and BTS’s “Map of the Soul: 7” remains at No. 1.

This is its 22nd week on the chart, roughly 5 months and 2 weeks.

 

In the 2nd position sits their compilation album “Love Yourself: Answer” which came out in August 2018 and features the title track “IDOL”.

It has now spent a beautiful 100 weeks on the chart, guys, that is almost two years!!

BTS’s “Love Yourself: Tear” attained the feat of being the first Korean album to spend a 100 weeks on the World Albums chart, and “Love Yourself: Answer” is now BTS’s second album to reach that accomplishment.

No. 3 on the World Albums chart this week is NCT 127’s “Neo Zone” which has spent 20 weeks on the chart followed another one of BTS.

“Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey~” has been in No. 4 for two weeks and ” Map of the Soul: Persona” comes after, bearing the No. 5 for 67 weeks.

Stray Kids’ “GO生” (“Go Live”) takes No. 6 (six weeks), BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love” is No. 7 (38 weeks). BTS’s “Love Yourself: Tear” is No. 8 (102 weeks), and “BTS WORLD” is No. 11 (49 weeks)

SuperM’s “SuperM: The 1st Mini Album” is No. 12 (40 weeks), BTS’s “Love Yourself: Her” is No. 13 (88 weeks), and BTS’s “You Never Walk Alone” is No. 15 (76 weeks).

Put together, BTS has eight albums on the World Chart this week.
