It was revealed that BTS’s “Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~” has reached triple platinum status on the RIAJ’s list of certifications for the month of July.

The group’s fourth Japanese full album “Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~” came out on July 15 and includes 13 songs in total, with Japanese versions of many of their Korean tracks and two new original Japanese songs: the title track “Stay Gold” and “Your Eyes Tell,” co-written by Jungkook.

TWICE’s latest Japanese single “Fanfare” has also gone platinum. The single came out on July 8 and it includes their new Japanese song “Fanfare” as well as a Japanese version of their latest Korean comeback track “MORE & MORE.”

To be certified as triple platinum by the RIAJ, an album must reach 750,000 copies shipped.
