Girls Alert’s Jisung Lost Consciousness And Was Rushed To Emergency Room During Filming For Web Drama
On August 16, Jisung was filming her web drama “Ugly Complex” (literal title) at DR Studio in Mapo, Seoul when she didn’t threw up and lost Consciousness. She was promptly rushed to the emergency room of a hospital in Sinchon for treatment.
Girls Alert’s agency, Roots Entertainment issued a statement addressing Jinsung’s condition after the incident.
The agency stated, “The diagnosis was that she had symptoms of enteritis [inflammation of the intestine] but more testing is required for an accurate assessment of her condition.”
“Jisung herself insisted that she would return to filming because everyone on set was waiting for her. She said she would get an intravenous saline solution and finish what she had to do for the day. She promised to get a more detailed examination tomorrow. She is currently receiving the IV saline solution and is showing signs of recovery.” They continued
The drama “Ugly Complex” is based on a Naver web novel about cute love between an optimistic high school student named Ah Jin and a tsundere boy with the name, Jun Woo. Jisung plays a character named Cho Hee.
