Big Hit Reveals They Will Be Able To Postpone BTS Jin’s Military Enlistment To The End Of 2021

It looks like our baby won’t be leaving so soon after all!

In Korea, it is compulsory for men of age to enlist in the military and Armys all around the world have been tensed since BTS’s member, Jin is already of age but we have good news as Big Hit Entertainment released an official statement regarding SeokJin’s military enlistment.

On September 2, BTS’s agency, Big Hit Entertainment submitted a stock report to the Financial Services Commission for listing on KOSPI (The Korea Composite Stock Price Index).

The Financial Supervisor Service’s electronic disclosure system released details of the stock report that addressed the topic of the BTS’s military enlistment.

The section that catches the eye is that of the oldest member, Jin. The report stated, “BTS is composed of members born in 1992 to 1997 and are all eligible for active duty service. We believe that it is possible to postpone Jin’s enlistment date until the end of 2021.”

Big Hit added, “To prepare for events such as military enlistment, sickness or accidents, we are continuously expanding our merchandise and video content sales that do not involve any direct artist activities.”

In order to minimize the risk of reduction in sales due to the planned vacancy of major artists, we are reviewing various fields such as pre-production contents such as album video contents and flexible artist management through active members.
