BTS’s “Dynamite” is back on No. 1 of Billboard’s Hot 100!

Billboard announced that BTS’s english language single “Dynamite” had soared right back to No.1 on the Hot 100 chart dated October 3. The Hot 100 is used to rank the most popular songs in the United States across all genres, it is based on streaming, radio airplay and sales data.

BTS made history by becoming the first all south korean act to make No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart when “Dynamite” debuted. The single remained No. 1 for two weeks before spending the following weeks at No. 2. They have now pushed their history making record to three weeks in total!

According to data from Nielsen Music/MRC Data, “Dynamite” return to No. 1 on the Hot 100 is fueled by the 14 million U.S. Streams (up 11 percent) and 153,000 downloads sold (up 96 percent) in the week ending September 24.

It was noted that 52 percent of the single’s overall sales were from it’s new “NightTime” remixes (Bedroom, Midnight, Retro and Slow Jam) which were released on September 18.

In addition to it’s return to the top of the Hot 100, “Dynamite” spends a fifth consecutive week at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart, it also went form No. 17 to No. 12 on the Streaming Songs chart.

It rose from No. 47 to No. 42 on the Radio Songs chart, following the song’s 20.8 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 8 percent) in the week ending September 27.
