Fantagio Shares Update On Legal Action Against Malicious Comments About Their Artists

Agency Fantagio has updated the public on its ongoing lawsuit against malicious commenters.

The label stated on September 16, “Through May, June, and July, we filed multiple complaints against those who defame our artists’ name and reputation through malicious criticism, the reckless spread of false rumors, and sexual harassment.”

According to Fantagio, some of the lawsuits had lead to the stage in which the plaintiff gave a statement. “The accused have been identified, so we will soon know the results of the complaints that are under investigation. We also intend to keep filing more complaints.”

The agency continued, “Through the agency’s internal monitoring and the evidence that fans have sent in, we confirmed that insults and rumors that cross the line have been directed at our artists. This has caused our artists’ psychological damage and harm to their image. As a result, we intend to continue taking strong legal action against this behaviour. We will pursue tough legal measures instead of agreeing to be lenient because of the artists who are suffering and the fans who are suffering alongside them.”

Fantagio is home to idol groups including ASTRO, Weki Meki and solo artist Ong Seung Wu. It also houses several actors.
