fromis_9’s Lee Seo Yeon Will Not Participate In Comeback Promotions Due To Injury
fromis_9’s Lee Seo Yeon has been exempted from comeback promotions due to her leg injury.
On September 10, Off the Record Entertainment released an official statement on fromis_9’s official café. Their statement reads:
“Hello, this is Off the Record Entertainment.
In light of Lee Seo Yeon’s injury, we are making an announcement with regard to promotions for fromis_9’s upcoming mini album, “My Little Society.”
We are sincerely grateful to Flover [fan club name] who have been waiting for fromis_9’s new mini album, and we regret having to deliver bad news.
Recently, Lee Seo Yeon suffered an injury to her leg while preparing for album promotions. She was taken immediately to the hospital for a detailed examination. The doctor stated that she needed to focus on treatment and recovery, so the agency has decided that Lee Seo Yeon will not be participating in promotions and fromis_9 will promote their new album with eight members.
Lee Seo Yeon herself strongly desired to continue promotions, but the agency chose to put our artist’s health first in making our decision. We ask for Flover’s understanding on this issue.
We are sorry for making fans worried with this sudden news and will do our best to ensure that Lee Seo Yeon makes a full recovery.
The K-pop group fromis_9 will be making a comeback with “My Little Society” on September 16.
