Seo Ye Ji Talks About How Her Drama “Its Okay To Not Be Okay” Helped Her Heal

Seo Ye Ji recently had an interview and pictorial for Harper’s Bazaar magazine. During the interview, she gave her opinions on her experience while filming the hit drama “It’s Okay To Not Be Okay”

Our favorite korean actress described her character, Go Moon Young with deep affection. She said, “For the past few months, I lived my life as Moon Young.”

She reveals that playing the role of Go Moon Young; a writer with a painful past who decided to shut out the world, had connected her personally on an emotional level.

Seo Ye Ji explained “Through the character of Moon Young, who faced her trauma and healed her wounds, I personally underwent a lot of healing as well,”

“It was definitely a struggle, but it also made me that much happier. I think she will remain my memory as a character who continued to grow on her own.” She said.

Seo Ye Ji was asked if she had ever experienced something during a moment in her life that had felt like something out of a novel, she replied, “I’m not sure if I’ve had one yet. I think that a ‘storybook-like moment’ can be both good or bad; it all depends on how you feel and the situation.”

“Maybe if I live a bit longer, I’ll be able to experience a moment like that. I’ll look forward to it.” she added.
