Kim Yoo Jung In Talks Along With Ahn Hyo Seop For Upcoming Historical Fantasy Drama
Kdrama lovers, Feel free to squeal As Kim Yoo Jung just might unite with Ahn Hyo Seop for a new drama!
On October 5, it was reported that Actress Kim Yoo Jung has a role in the upcoming SBS drama “Hong Chun Gi” (working title).
Her agency, (the one with Park Seo Joon!) Awesome ENT confirmed, “Kim Yoo Jung has received an offer to star in ‘Hong Chun Gi’ and is reviewing [the offer].”
Her new project “Hong Chun Gi” is based on a novel of the same name written by Jung Eun Gwol, this is the creator behind original novels for “SungKyunkwan Scandal” and “The Moon Embracing the Sun”.
“Hong Chun Gi” is a fantasy romance drama set in the Joseon era. Kim Yoo Jung will play the role of Hong Chun Gi, the only female painter in Joseon. She possesses an extraordinary memory.
Ahn Hyo Seop, if he accepts the offer, will play the male lead. Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop were previously acquainted through “Clean with Passion for Now” but due to scheduling conflicts, Actor Ahn Hyo Seop had to withdraw from the project.
“Hong Chun Gi” will be directed by Jang Tae Yoo, known for his works “My Love From the Star” and “Hyena”.
