BTS And Stray Kids Win Awards At 2020 MTV EMA Including Best Song And Best Group
BTS and Stray Kids took home awards at the 2020 MTV EMAs!
MTV held it annual Europe Music Awards on November 8 local time, which was broadcast from multiple cities instead of the usual physical ceremony in one city.
BTS swept the floor as they snagged a total of four awards after being nominated in five categories this year. The group won Best Song with their record-making hit, “Dynamite” beating out serious competition form DaBaby’s “Rockstar” featuring Roddy Ricch, Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now”, Roddy Ricch’s “The Box”, The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” and even Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s “Rain on Me”.
BTS also won Best Group, making this their third consecutive year with this award. The other nominees for Best Group were 5 Seconds of Summer, BLACKPINK, Chloe x Halle, CNCO and Little Mix.
BTS also took home the award for Best Virtual Live, which they won for their online concert, “BANG BANG CON: The Live”, they also won the Biggest Fans award for the third year in a row.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids won the award for Best Korean Act. They were nominated alongside ASTRO, EVERGLOW, KARD and VICTON.
