Choi Woo Shik And Kim Da Mi To Reunite In New Romantic Comedy Drama

Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi will star in Studio N’s first original drama “Us That Year” (literal title)!

Studio N, producers of the webtoon based dramas “Strangers From Hell” and “True Beauty” will be working on their first original project “Us That Year”.

The upcoming rom-com “Us That Year” tells the story of a couple that had a terrible breakup. However, the documentary they filmed together, 10 years ago in high school suddenly gains popularity and they are forcefully brought together in front of the camera once more.

Choi Woo Shik will be playing the role of Choi Woong, an immature yet carefree man, who brings out his sincerity when he finds something he desires in life for the first time. Choi Woo Shik starred in the Academy winning film “Parasite”.

Kim DaMi will play the role of Gook Yeon Soo. A woman whose greatest goal in life was to become No. 1 during her school days. Now, as an adult, she lives fiercely while adjusting to the reality of life with a wound in her heart. Kim DaMi came to the limelight with her role, alongside Park Seo Joon in the popular Korean drama “Itaewon Class”

Choi Woo Shik And Kim Da Mi starred in the film “The Witch” together and their latest project “Us That Year” is going to reunite the two actors. “Us That Year” will have 16 episodes with production beginning into the second half of this year.

Studio N will produce an original drama and a webtoon for “Us That Year” at the same time. The drama version will show the leads as adults while the webtoon, which will be serialized through Naver Webtoon will give a glimpse into their high school days. The webtoon will be serialized at the same time that the drama airs, creating a new form of multi-content platform.
