Kim Seon Ho will play the role of the male lead, Hong Doo Shik, also known as Mr Hong. He is unemployed but does odd jobs helping everyone in Gongjin with any situation they run into.

His lead counterpart, Shin Min Ah plays dentist Yoon Hye Jin, a woman blessed with beauty and brains. Her life plans fall apart because of an act of righteousness and after various trials, she moves to the seashore village Gongjin and meets Mr Hong.
