ONEWE’s Kanghyun will be going off to the military.
On July 7, ONEWE’s agency, RBW announced that Kanghyun will be enlisting in the military next month on August 2.
The agency official statement reads:
“Hello, this is RBW.
We are making an announcement regarding ONEWE’s Kanghyun’s military enlistment.
Kanghyun will be enlisting as an active-duty soldier on August 2, 2022.The time and location of his enlistment will not be made public, and he plans to enter quietly, without any special [public] measures.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to minimize disorder on site, there will not be any official public events [for Kanghyun’s enlistment].
In consideration of the fact that it will be an occasion shared with many other soldiers, we ask that WEVE [ONEWE’s fans] refrain from attending, and we ask for your generous understanding in this regard.
We are always grateful for the love that WEVE send ONEWE’s Kanghyun. We ask that you send your warm support to Kanghyun until the day he returns as a more mature version of himself, after diligently carrying out his national duty.
Thank you.”
Kanghyun is the second member of the group to enlist in the military. The first being ONEWE’s Yonghoon who will be leaving on July 12.
