Cha Eun Woo, Moon Ga Young, And Hwang In Yeob Confirmed To Lead Drama Adaption Of Hit Webtoon “TrueBeauty”

The cast has been confirmed!!

tvN’s upcoming webtoon adaptation drama “True Beauty” has confirmed its main cast. Yes, we have our main lead, second male lead and female lead!!
Moon Ga Young, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo and Hwang In Yeob will be acting in this upcoming expectation!!

“True Beauty” is based on a popular webtoon. (Webtoon readers! where are you!) It is a romantic comedy that tells of Lim Joo Kyung (Lim Jugyeong) who is insecure about her looks and therefore uses makeup to make herself appear beautiful. She meets Lee Suho, a boy with hidden pains and the two grow closer after he Discovers her face without makeup.

Moon Ga Young will play Lim Joo Kyung, who doesn’t want people to see her bare face.

Cha Eun Woo the beautiful Lee Suho who is the envy of, his looks, his grades. Everyone loves him but he distances himself from others.

An actor whose visuals are in par with Cha Eun Woo plays the role of the second male lead. Hwang In Yeob plays Han Seo Joon. This character has an amazing body ( I know it’s a webtoon but my heart skips a beat every time), a wild quality and an edgy sense of fashion but he is a soft person inside.

Hwang In Yeob got into the spotlight through his role in “The tale of Nokdu” where he impressed viewers with his gaze and martial art skills.

It was previously revealed that Park Yoo Na was offered the role of Kang Soo Jin who is the cool, shapely and feisty “goddess” of Saebom High School but they had been no update on the status of her casting.

The production team of “True Beauty” shared, “We have confirmed Moon Ga Young, Cha Eun Woo, and Hwang In Yeob as the main cast. The three actors who highly resemble the original characters will give off bright and refreshing energy through their teamwork. We will greet you with a lovely rom-com within the second half of the year. Please show lots of anticipation and attention for ‘True Beauty.’”

“True Beauty” will be directed by Kim Sang Hyub, who has led “The King Loves” and “Extraordinary You,” and written by Lee Si Eun of the “Rude Miss Young Ae” series.
