Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah And Chu Young Woo will be playing in KBS2’s new school Korean drama “Oasis.”
“Oasis” is a korean drama about three youths who fight to protect their first loves, dreams and friendship in the turbulent backdrop of South Korea from 1980 to 1990.
Jang Dong Yeon will star as Lee Doo Hak, an intelligent boy with a pure heart who grew up in a less privileged household. He falls in love with Oh Jung Shin, a transfer student from Seoul. Jang Dong Yoon is known for his roles in “The Tale of Nokdu”, “Search”, and “School 2017.”
“Business Proposal” Seol In Ah will play the role of Oh Jung Shin; Lee Doo Hak’s first love. She is honest and confident, and boldly ambitious. Previously schooling in Seoul, she transfers schools and gets closer to Lee Doo Hak and Choi Chul Woong.
Fans are anticipating this reunion of Oh Jung Shin and Jang Dong Yoon, since they starred in “School 2017” together and boasted beautiful chemistry.
Chu Young Woo will take on the role of Lee Doo Hak’s childhood friend and rival Choi Chul Woong. He has always been No. 1 in school and hates losing, but he is unable to win Oh Jung Shin’s heart. Chu Young Woo is known for his roles in “School 2021” “Police University.”
The upcoming school drama “Oasis” will begin in September and air via KBS2 in the first half of 2023.
