Hyun Bin And Yoo Hae Jin In Talks To Return For Sequel To 2017 Hit Film “Confidential Assignment”
Actor Hyun Bin and Yoo Hae Jin may be coming back together for a sequel to the hit film “Confidential Assignment”!
It was reported on August 24, that both Yoo Hae Jin and Hyun Bin had been offered an appearance in the upcoming sequel. Both of their agencies, Huayi Brothers Korea for Yoo Hae Jin and VAST Entertainment for Hyun Bin, confirmed the news with the statement that the actors are currently considering the offers
The original 2017 film was directed by Kim Sung Hoon. Its story told of a North Korean detective Rim Chul Ryang, played by Hyun Bin, who works with a South Korean detective Kang Jin Tae, played by Yoo Hae Jin.
Many other memorable performances in the original film stood out, including that of Kim Joo Hyuk and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA.
The film attracted 7.81 million moviegoers and was recorded a box office success.
A source from “Confidential Assignment” sequel stated that the final script was currently being edited, “We hope to bring back the aspects that people loved in the first ‘Confidential Assignment’ film to the sequel as well.”
Hyun Bin is currently filming “Bargaining” in Jordan and Yoo Hae Jin is prepping up for the release of his upcoming film “Space Sweepers”.
