Lee Yoo Mi, Ong Seong Wu and Byun Woo Seok Confirmed For “Strong Woman Do-BongSoon” Sequel
“Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon” is back with a sequel.
“Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon” is a hit romantic comedy, still a little bit popular today, that focuses on Do Bong-Soon, our female lead with superhuman strength (starring Park Bo Young, Park Hyung Shik and Ji Soo).
Just like “Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon”, the sequel titled “Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon” will be focusing on a female lead with the gift of superhuman strength, but this time around our female lead like the title hints will be Kang Nam Soon, Do Bong-Soon’s distant cousin, who is in search of her parents. Just like Do Bong-Soon, the females in her family also possess superhuman strength.
It has been confirmed that “Squid Game” actress Lee Yoo Mi, who also starred in the hit Netflix series “All of us are Dead”, would be starring as the female lead in the sequel.
Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Hae Sook, Ong Seoung Wu and Kim Jung Eun have also been confirmed to star alongside Lee Yoo Mi in the drama.
Kim Jung Eun will be playing the role of a mother looking for her lost daughter, while Veteran actress Kim Hae Sook will play Kang Nam Soon’s maternal grandmother.
Ong Seong Woo plays the role of a detective and Kang Nam Soon’s love interest, Kim Hee Sik, who is part of a secret investigation team investigating drugs.
And of course, the drama can never be completed without our villain, Ryu Si Oh played by Byun Woo Seok.
