DIA’s Jung Chae Yeon, SF9’s Rowoon, VICTON’s Byungchan, And Park Eun Bin To Star In New KBS Historical Drama
The cast of the latest historical drama has been confirmed!
On May 8, it was announced that Jung Chaeyeon has been confirmed to join the cast of the new KBS historical drama titled “Yeonmo” (romanized title).
“Yeonmo” when translated to Korean means “love” or affection. The drama is based on a manhwa (Korean comic) of the same name and will tell the story of twins born into the royal family, one male and one female. After birth, the female is abandoned for being female but later had to disguise herself as a male after the death of her brother.
Jung Chaeyeon will be starring in her first drama after two years and playing the role of Noh Ka Kyung, the wife to the crown prince.
Park Eun Bin will play Lee Hwi, a crown prince determined to keep his shocking secret from the world. SF9’s Rowoon plays the role of male lead Jung Ji Woon, who is Lee Hwi’s teacher and VICTON’s Byungchan will be Kim Ga On, a faithful man who guards Lee Hwi.
“Yeonmo” will be helmed by director Song Hyun Wook, who has worked on “Beauty Inside” and “Another Oh Hae Young.” The drama is scheduled to air in the second half of 2021.
