On January 10, they were reports that Im Siwan and Seolhyun will be starring as the leads of the new webtoon based drama “Summer Strike”.
Im Siwan’s agency responded and stated that he was reviewing the offer. Seolhyun’s agency responded and stated that she too was reviewing the offer.
“Summer Strike” is a drama based on the popular webtoon,“I Don’t Feel Like Doing Anything.”
It shows the story of a romance between two people who decide to quit their lifestyle and move to a small town to do nothing. One is the character “Ahn Dae Bum”, a genius who competed in math problems to get into Seoul University 20 years ago. After experiencing an accident, he still manages to get into the University. One day he leaves to work as a librarian in a small seaside village named Angok. That’s where he meets Lee Yeo Reum, a 28-year old that suddenly quits her job at a company she has been working at for 5 years, and travels to Angok with one backpack.
After his stellar performance in “Run On” as Ki Seon Gyeom, this time Im Si Wan has been asked to play the genius, Ahn Dae Bum and Selhyu, Lee Yeo Reum.
