Lee Min Ho Confirmed For Cast Of Global Drama “Pachinko”

Lee Min Ho has been officially confirmed to join the cast of Apple TV+’s “Pachinko”!

 

Lee Min Ho will play the role of Hansu “a rich and powerful merchant with ties to organized crime”. Reports go on to describe Lee Min Ho’s character, Hansu with statements like, “He’s an opportunist who’s true to his own desires while wanting to be pure when it comes to love. He’s a mysterious character who hides a secret and pursues a forbidden romance, and he plays an important role in the story.”

“Pachinko” is based on a best selling novel of the same name, which follows four generations of a Korean immigrants family, telling their saga that follows across Korea, Japan and the United States. The drama is a global project that will feature Korean, Japanese and English. “Pachinko” will be told over eight episodes. Filming starts on October 26, on-location in Korea, with plans to film in Canada.

 

It has been stated that Korean Actor, Lee Min Ho will join a multinational cast that includes Jin Ha, Anna Sawai, Kim Min Ha, Soji Arai and Kaho Minami. “Pachinko” executive producer is Kogonada, main writer being Justin Chon and Soo Hugh has the title of showrunner.

They will each be directing four episodes.
