Kdrama viewers agree that one of the best feelings in the world is the feeling you get when you find out that your favourite drama is getting a second season. And one of the worst feelings is when the final episode of your favourite drama ends in a cliffhanger and you know that there is no way of knowing what’s going to happen next.
VAGABOND viewers can relate as the clamour for another season was trending on all social networks when the first and only season ended in a cliffhanger, distorting the plot and leaving us confused.
MOON LOVERS: SCARLET HEART RYEO viewers can relate even more as the clamour and request for another season went on for five years before it settled. The cliffhanger at the end of the drama got many wanting for more, which we never got, that’s the sad part of the story.
We might not be getting a second season of MOON LOVERS, but here are some dramas with second seasons that are confirmed to be released 2022/2023.
1. YUMI’S CELLS: So many viewers fell in love with the animated cells that told the story in Yumi’s Cells, but were disappointed when the season ended badly. Luckily, YUMI’S CELLS’ second season has been confirmed and the cast remains the same with Block B’s P.O and Shin Ye Eun even joining as one of the cast members.
The second season is said to be more dynamic and to focus on each character’s development and new love lines.

2. ARTHADAL CHRONICLES: There were mixed reactions when the main leads of the drama Song Joong ki and Kim Ji Won were announced to be replaced by Lee Joon Gi and Shin Se Kyung. Many were unhappy, especially with the replacement of Kim Ji Won with Shin Se Kyung saying that she couldn’t out-perform Kim Ji Won.
Despite the fact that I will miss the main cast I don’t see the wrong in the replacement of any of the cast, rather I will be waiting to see the performance of Shin Se Kyung and Lee Joon Gi.
The new season is said to tell the story after 10 years have passed.

3. TALE OF THE NINE TAILED: This drama touched the hearts of many and ended nicely for some and not so nicely for others. Many complained about the fact that Lee Rang had no love line and that the death of Lee Rang was unfair.
The second season has been said to focus on the story of the mountain gods, Lee Yeon and to complete the story of Lee Rang which remained uncomplete in Season one.
In other news, PENTHOUSE actress Kim So Yeon is said to join Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum in the second season.
She took home the Grand Prize award for her stellar performance in PENTHOUSE, so many are anticipating the performance of the trio.
